‘Put a Little SARTA in yourn heart’ campaign set to launch

Riders to get an opportunity to declare their love for SARTA for a chance to win prizes and free rides during the month of February.
Canton, Ohio (February 1, 2023) – The Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) today announced that its “Put a Little SARTA in Your Heart” campaign kicks off today and will run through Tues., Feb. 28. The campaign encourages SARTA riders to express their appreciation and gratitude by declaring what they love about the transit authority.
SARTA riders can vote by either visiting the campaign landing page (lovesarta.com) or by scanning the QR code on print ads, posters, and various promotional materials available at SARTA stations.
Entrants will be eligible to win free rides, all-day passes, and SARTA merchandise.
Thousands of Stark County residents rely on SARTA each day to provide rides to work, school, medical appointments, and other important destinations.
“The SARTA team loves providing consistent, reliable, affordable, and safe transportation to the residents of Stark County,” said Kirt Conrad, SARTA Executive Director. “And every day, we show our love to riders. Through this campaign, we’re giving our riders a chance share what they love about SARTA and the services that our team provides. It’s a great way to continue the positive connection we have within our community.”
Thanks to a whole lot of love, SARTA:
- Provides more than 2.5 million rides annually
- Provides more than 160,000 Proline rides to disabled residents each year
- Provides approximately 5,000 rides to work each day
- Provides nearly 10,000 free rides to veterans to the Cleveland VA Clinic yearly
- Operates 34 fixed routes daily
- Employs more than 200 people
The Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The transit authority was established in 1997 to meet the public transportation needs of Stark County, Ohio residents. SARTA provides more than 2.5 million rides annually to commuters, seniors, individuals with disabilities, students and veterans through the system’s fixed routes, Proline, MedLine, veterans and campus bus services.
