SARTA to Host public meeting(s) on upcoming route changes

Multiple SARTA Routes included in upcoming changes going into effect on

May 15th, 2023.

Canton, Ohio (April 12^th, 2023) – The Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) is set to host a series of public meetings with regards to upcoming route changes that are taking effect on May 15^th, 2023. The meetings, designed to encourage public feedback, will be held virtually on Facebook LIVE and at the Stark County District Library in Downtown Canton.

The virtual meeting(s) will be held on SARTA’s Facebook page through Facebook LIVE (Monday, April 24^th, 2023 @ 9:30AM and 3:00PM) and the in-person meeting will be held at the Stark County District Library in the McKinley Room (Wednesday, April 26^th, 2023 @ 4:00PM). To access the virtual meeting search Stark Area Regional Transit Authority in the search bar of Facebook and click to open our page. The live stream will appear when the meeting starts.

Several SARTA routes will be affected including the following:

• Rt. 107
• Rt. 108
• Rt. 111
• Rt. 113
• Rt. 131
• Rt. 133
• Rt. 139
• Rt. 157

Questions for the meeting can be submitted in advance using SARTA’s Feedback form available online at SARTAonline.com/contact/#feedback. Questions must be submitted by 5:00PM on Friday, April 21^st, 2023 to be answered during the meeting.
