Free Rides for Freedom

SARTA will provide free rides for all veterans during its Free Rides For FREEDOM campaign slated to run Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023.

All veterans who show proof of service will ride for free on all fixed and Proline routes throughout the day.

Proof of Service includes:

• DD214/215
• NGB Form 22
• Military ID Card
• VA Issued ID Card for Health Care
• Veterans ID Card
• Veterans Designation on Driver’s License or State Veterans Card
• Veterans Group Membership Card (VFW, American Legion, DAV)
• Or any other proof of service paperwork or cards

“Our veterans have sacrificed so much for our freedom,” said Kirt Conrad, SARTA executive director. “Free Rides for FREEDOM is just one way for us to show our gratitude to the men and women of Stark County who have served this nation. We thank our veterans for their brave and honorable service.”
