According to SARTA CEO Kirt Conrad, the route changes will streamline travel between some of the transit system’s most popular destinations by eliminating the need to switch buses at the Cornerstone Transit Center. All changes will take effect on Sunday, May 16, 2021.
Routes 103/108
After reaching Washington Square, Rt. 108 will turn left on Easton St. NE and stop at Edelweiss and Middlebranch, change its header to and interline with Rt. 103 and travel inbound to Cornerstone on Middlebranch. When Rt. 103 arrives at Edelweiss and Middlebranch it will change its header to Rt. 108 and travel inbound to Cornerstone on Market Ave.
As a result of the change riders boarding at Edelweiss and Middlebranch will not need to change buses at the Cornerstone Transit Center to ride either Rt. 103 or Rt. 108.
Riders who wish to stay on the Rt. 103 or Rt. 108 for their inbound routes will need to change buses at Edelweiss and Middlbranch.
